SOM Kicks Off BET & A3C Week With Official Launch At Scales 925!

On October 5, 2015 Spaced Out Magazine kicked off BET & A3C week with its official Atlanta, GA. launch held at T.I.’s Scales 925. The event led to the celebration of  the magazine’s first in store issue covered by R&B group Final Draft. As many filled the private floor of Scales 925, guest gathered for a night filled with musical performances, celeb guest, and a special award presented by multitalented actress/singer Nyla Vamp. With NLD Radio on the 1&2s keeping the the music coming for the crowd, the launch event was a success.

Spaced Out Magazine had the privilege of presenting the MCA (Magazine Cover Award) to Final Draft. The event was was hosted by Nyla Vamp and had performances from J Metro, ATR Records, and a special performance by Final Draft. Some of the celebs in attendance were: Final Draft, J Metro, QT Jazz, the cast of Living Large in ATL, Frost, Urban Republic, Relli Rok Omega, Erica Dias Of The B Firm, & Dj Cypher.

Spaced Out Magazine was founded on October 13, 2011, as a then marketing/advertising venture for business and entertainment, housing big and small names, as well as some top brands to showcase. The company was created by Celebrity Journalist Rueben Wood, once known as artist/producer Yung Bank. During it’s early stages before it was a company, Wood used the outlet to promote indie artist and main stream artist alike. Event promoting mixtapes for rapper Meek Mill, and helping to break Lil Wayne’s “Love  Me” ft. Future & Drake. From interviewing T Boz of TLC to west coast legends Ras Kass, Kokane and more, the magazine continued to grow into what you see today!
Spaced Out became the center piece for the company and it’s many branches, virtually reaching every aspect of life. By 2013 Spaced Out Magazine’s online presence had reached over millions of new consumers, bringing a new approach to the marketing aspect of the company.
