Born in 1995, in the little town of Fredericksburg, Markus grew up with two older brothers who always had a passion for hip hop. "Ever since I was in the womb I was surrounded by music" Markus says.
As a kid Mark learned to play piano, trumpet and guitar, playing existing music and composing music for himself and others to enjoy. Later he dove into listening to classics on vinyl records to "feel" the history of good old fashion music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Some would say he has an old soul from the pleasure and understanding he gathered from the good old stuff that was created before he was born.
From then on he began mixing the old with the new on his first drum machine the Akai MPC 2000xl. By the age of 17 Mark started rapping and venting his frustrations in school thru his music.
Despite being sort of an outcast in school, and getting sent to the office every other week, Mark came out on top when he dropped his first mixtape titled "The Highschooler's Guide To Life". Now after dropping his second mixtape "Weirdo" he is slowly growing a buzz in the DMV and strongly believes that his next project will put him on the map.
