Avis Marie Bickham is a heartfelt gospel recording artist, praise and worship leader, songwriter, composer, and minister of the gospel to glorify the Kingdom of God. Her passion is to create an atmosphere for God, no matter where she is so that His presence can come in and change a chaotic environment into one that is filled with His peace, rest, and the manifestation of miracles. Her music is designed to reach the world regardless of religious denomination.

Avis gave her life to the Lord at the age of twelve. Afterward, she started singing and playing the piano in her church. Avis has recorded several CD's, two with her late husband, Kenneth C. Douglas, Sr., "Enter In" and "Spirit of Worship." Later she released "God Has Broken the Mirror to My Past," "Christmas With Avis," and "It's Christmas Time Again." She is presently working on a new CD release "I Am Sure" set to be released later this year or in early 2020.

Avis is the proud wife of Minister T. Harvey Bickham. They have five children and nine grandchildren. She's the daughter of Henry and Ossie M. Williams, and she's the sister to three siblings. In addition to being the owner of Happy Fingers Piano Studio, where she teaches piano to children ranging from 5 – adults, she is also owner and manager of her own gift shop (Bickham's Place) located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Avis is an ordained minister and serves as one of the praise and worship leaders at the Oasis Christian Church pastored by Bishop Charles E. Wallace. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 138:9, which reads, "God will perfect everything that concerns you."
