$plurge is a ftm transgender poet, songwriter and rapper. He is a poet and comes from a lower middle-class family. Through poetry and music, he was able to find his way outside of the poverty line. Splurgy grew up near Ferguson where racism thrives but due to his traveling he was able to connect with all points of diversity. His music gives you a glimpse into the inner city youth of Saint Louis, Mo.
