SWENDAL emerged on the west coast hip-hop/rap scene in 2013. The Los Angeles based rap artist gained a solid fan base during the Smokers Club Tour during that year. He was billed alongside Chevy Woods, Joey Badass, Ab-Soul (TDE) and The UnderAchievers.

Since then, he has collaborated with a string of artists, including Xzibit, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Teeflii, DJ Sillk (Aftermath) and Dae One.

SWENDAL has also worked with The FistACuffs (Miguel), Ralo Stylez, Vince Staples, Roach Killa, Pico Lewch and Lady V.

He has been tipped by critics as “the future of rap”, with the ability to take concepts and merge rhythm and rhyme to deliver punchy, original material. With story-telling skills reminiscent of Slick Rick and Nas he is definitely gonna be the topic of conversation about who up next!

SWENDAL, attracted critical acclaim for his hypnotic, hard-hitting self-titled SWENDAL, which placed him at the top of an emerging new niche in the hip-hop/west coast rap scene.

He moved into the major league with his concept album Hardball. Focusing on the literal parallels between baseball and rap terminology, it signaled a sea change in his career and significantly upped his audience reach.
