Alvin Vincent Triggs II (born February 28, 1986), known by stage name Princinnati, is an Ohio based national Hip Hop recording artist (hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio) and founder of 2nd to None Music Group (2MG). He was born to Tori and Alvin Triggs Sr. in Portsmouth, NH. As a child, Princinnati lived on the Pease Air Force Base, where his father was stationed and served in the United States Air Force for four years. In 1990, Princinnati’s father relocated to the Scott Air force Base in East St. Louis, MZ where they lived for five years. In 1995, the entertainer’s family moved to Cincinnati, OH after his father was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. It was here, in Cincinnati, where Princinnati got his first glance of the entertainment industry (growing up), watching his mother transform into a soulful songstress and compete in local talent shows.

Upon entering high school (Winton Woods High School), Princinnati’s love for music grew and his need for being in the spotlight blossomed. Princinnati participated in many extracurricular activities and after school organization: he played varsity basketball and football, performed in several school talent shows, and was a member of the men’s choir.

As Princinnati’s confidence and aspiration of becoming an entertainer soured, it was also during Princinnati’s high school years, which his life had taken a drastic turn for the worst. His father had succumb to alcoholism, struggling with depression and harsh realities, causing him to leave his family behind to fend for themselves. Princinnati’s parents eventually separted. Immediately following the separation, Princinnati’s mother moved the family to Indianapolis, IN to pick up the pieces of his family. The young rapper remained in Cincinnati to focus on his music career, but immediately experienced another tragic event when the murder of his close cousin Charles “Chaz” Mcray occurred in 2007. Greif stricken and alone, Princinnati channeled the death and devastation of the recent events into his music.

Princinnati officially began his music career in 2006 when he recorded his first original song entitled “The Blues.” Initially, Princinnati’s career was fuel by routine impromptu freestyle sessions throughout Cincinnati, which eventually landed the new artist into a studio session to record his first track. He continued pursuing his aspirations as an entertainer by hosting parties and performing regularly at several local venues, open-mic nights, and talent shows across town. Princinnati has gradually built up a following in the city of Cincinnati upon releasing a series of well-received singles and collaborations, including the hit “Fresh To Death” (February 2008), "Brown Skin" (April 2009), and the club banger “Eatin’ Ain’t Cheatin’" (October 2009).

On July 8th, 2010, Princinnati released his first mixtape entitled “Royalty: Volume One” and in February 2011 released the single “Pumps and Skinnys”. Later on in 2012, Princinnati went on to record and release single “I’m On That”, which started to receive national attention and internet traffic. “I’m On That,” features artist Artimar Cole (Phresh Fraternity) and music production from Tone Beats aka The Beat Bully (production credits: Rick Ross and Meek Mill).

Since becoming a full time entertainer in 2006, Princinnati has participated in numerous local and regional events throughout the Midwest region; as well perform at many club venues. Princinnati has become a regularly featured performer at Cincinnati’s annual Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion, and has performed as opening act for several music industry heavyweight artists such as Rick Ross and R&B singer Bobby Valentino. In 2009, Princinnati won first place in the Russ Parr Bus Tour in Louisville, KY after amassing over 5,000 votes. Recently in December 2014, Princinnati won first place performance at the Coast 2 Coast Live Showcase in Atlanta, GA, earning him a sponsored trip and performance in Miami, Fl. Recently, Princinnati won radio station, 101.1 FM The Wiz FM’s, contest to peform at the 1st Annual Nati Summer Bash concert after amassing enough votes for a performance audition in front of panel judges.

In 2012, Princinnati began entrepreneurial endeavors within the music industry and co-founded the imprint; Phresh Fraternity Inc, a music and lifestyle brand. Princinnati wanted to better brand himself as a music artist to the masses and create a movement of up-and-coming artists and loyal fans with carry similar interests. Phresh Fraternity is a free-spirited movement that embraces the development of individuality (artistically) and is founded upon goal principles to encourage leadership. “Phresh Is A Lifestyle: More than a name; More than a Brand” is the motto that Phresh Fraternity follows.

Currently, Princinnati is newly relocated in Atlanta, Georgia performing at various artist showcases and promoting the release of his latest radio single “Throw It All”. Princinnati is also avidly working in the studio on several music projects for his record label, 2nd to None Music Group (2MG) and establishing the lifestyle brand Phresh Fraternity. “Welcome To Princinnati” will be the next project to be released by Princinnati and is scheduled for Fall 2015. Lastly, Princinnati is scheduled to perform at 101.1 Wiz FM’s 1st Annual Nati Summer Bash on Sunday, July 12th alongside with celebrity artists Future, Cool Amerika, Chedda da Connect, and Tink.
