San Bernardino California native Candice Boyd is a contemporary R&B Singer/songwriter who started performing and singing in church as a child. After some time her passion for music became stronger so Candice decided to pursue her music career. She entered the industry during the early 2010s as a vocalist and feature in the background and foreground of tracks by Eric Benet, Flo Rida, David Guetta, Problem, Eric Bellinger, Nelly, Tank and Nicki Minaj . She eventually began an association with Ne-Yo and joined his Compound University roster. Boyd appeared on Ne-yo’s album, tour and also picked up another songwriting credit as the co-composer of Tamar Braxtons album “Calling All Lovers”
Candice was signed to Sony/Epic in 2016 and made her solo debut for Epic that June with the French Montana collaboration "Damn Good Time," a track subsequently given extra exposure on the playlist “Epic Lit”. That same year Boyd performed “Damn Good Time at the Soul Train awards. In 2018 Candice rose to fame after competing on the first season of Fox 11 “The Four” and placing runner up. The tv appearance helped Candice gain a bigger fan base and since then she’s released 5 more singles titled
“Off My Chest, Crazy, But It Isnt, Im Me and Doing too Much” and “Replay. Candice is now an independent artist with a rapidly growing fan base a true “songbird”, strong live performer and amazing artist who’s just getting started.
