Roy Head - Last Time Around
Wild Honey Records (Italy) in association with executive producers Sam Lee and Andy Bradley (Texas) announced distribution efforts are underway for Roy Head’s “Last Time Around” a ten track compilation being distributed to terrestrial radio. “Last Time Around” is comprised of ten Roy Head singles with only one originally released over the decades of his monumental career.
Re-mixing and format conversions by world class recording engineer Andy Bradley with mastering duties handled by James Kelley of Wire Road Studios fame. The physical album moved directly to vinyl by passing CD release and is currently being distributed digitally in the U.S.
The album includes Roy’s famous “Treat Her Right” which was featured in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”. "Treat Her Right" has been recorded by a virtual who’s who in music since 1965 including Tom Jones and Bruce Springsteen.
The album includes multiple great songs such as “Feels Like Rain” a powerful ballad written by John Hiatt, a song that Roy recorded and made famous. Ten over the top tracks that do not represent an era but rather one artist/songwriter’s journey of a lifetime. The album also features the incredible lead guitar work of Australia's Deniz Tek.
