Since 2001, Trav has been involved in spoken word/Hip-Hop putting together battles, poetry events, being in street teams, being a sound engineer, etc. He also performed at open mics, slam competitions, & talent shows. In 2019, Trav Da Poet reemerged, pouring his heart out in an unreleased album, "Issues of Life Vol. 1". He's set to release an EP, "Issues of Life Prelude", in August/September 2021.
